If you can get it to work, it works pretty dang well I’m honestly surprised, I didn’t expect this product to work at all.I put this on my motorcycle so that my parents could keep track of me during my cross country tours. I’m fairly tech savvy, and didn’t want to pay for a full YEAR of SPOT service when I’d only be needing it for a couple of months. This product has a lot of superfluous uses that I just cut off; I just wanted something I could put on that my parents could track in real time. After about 10 hours of fiddling, I finally got it to do just that, so I’m going to walk you through exactly how to do that, step by step, so that you can have yours up and running in less than 2 hours. – Buy this product, as well as a standard size sim card from H2O wireless, also available here on amazon. They cost a penny. Upon arrival, go to the h2owirelessnow website and activate the sim, then preload it with $10 and do NOT sign it up for a data plan. Pay per use is 10 cents per megabyte, and you’ll have to refill this…

Recommended, cheap, easy to use, tons of features I had no problems with this GPS tracker at all – works great in NY with H2O Wireless SIM for 1 cent on Amazon. Service is $10 for 90 days no activation or reactivation fees if you let it lapse or expire. Bench tested by hooking up (+) & (-) to spare car battery, hung 2 antennas out window. Locked on cell signal in about 2 minutes, GPS about 4 minutes.Sent ‘begin’, ‘change password’, ‘set admin phone’ SMS text messages – got the expected reply each time. Sent ‘Arm’, ‘status check’ & ‘Send IMEI’ commands and got the responses right away. Sent ‘fix’ command to give location every 30 seconds for 5 times, and the fully formatted message reply had lat/ long, speed, a clickable link to google maps and ‘power’, ‘door’ and ‘ACC’ status.I am impressed! I didn’t set up anything on my iPhone 5 – the text message received is already spaced out with line breaks and punctuation and the complete hyperlink – I expected there would be more setup required. The…
