Great Item I also have a Nuvi 1450 which this replaced.It is bigger than the 1450 so I placed it as low on the windshield as I could. I found the balance that minimizes the lost of windshield view and still allows the cam to see the road. I took a 400 miles trip with it and all the features worked as stated.The Forward Collision Warning system popped up a couple of times as drivers pulled in front of me while changing lanesThe Lane Departure Warning system works very well…
Great improvement over GPS units! I purchased this device a week ago from a different vendor because it was not yet available from Amazon. My wife and I were considering buying a new car with forward collision warning and lane departure when we saw the ad for the Nuvicam. Those features work great. We have found the lane departure feature works well, and has not been overly sensitive for us. Other features that have been impressive are “Real Vision” which activates the camera when you reach your destination to show…

I’ve had all the top line Garmin units for the last 5 years and this mount system isn’t like the others. Meaning you can see the mount above the unit itself thereby adding more windshield blockage to the already large screen. I do like the suction so far. It’s rock solid.
