good product….works just like the brand new device i own two of these GPS Devices. First one was brand new and then i ordered this certified refurbished product. Initially i was skeptical whether it’s going to work just like the new one i had before.to my surprise, the product works just perfect as if it’s new. there were no scratches on the gps when it arrived. All the accessories came along with it.regarding the features in the GPS, i really like the option of life time map updates plus traffic updates. I use this on regular basis and it’s nice to see the gps providing me alternative router options to my destination if there is any traffic delay on one of the planned routes. The “Voice Command” is also useful on daily basis…..as there is no need to look at the gps and deviate your eyes off the road….i just say Voice Command – Go Home. That’s it. in general, i see many people using their cell phones for the GPS option…i do have unlimited data plan subscribed for my cell phone…however i strongly…
Voice recognition failed! I was SO looking forward to using this GPS unit with its large screen, lane assist, POIs and especially the voice recognition. Unfortunately, the unit never once was able to understand my voice {nor the voices of several others, all with clear concise speaking ability} and would respond with the most absurd street names or places of interest {restaurants, stores, etc.} and I am hoping it had to do with it being a refurbished unit but would think that all functions were tested before the unit was certified refurbished. Most reviews indicated the voice recognition feature was good to excellent, so maybe I did receive a defective unit despite the refurbishment process. I had to return the unit and Amazon was wonderful about the return transaction, issuing a refund before the unit was even received back by the seller. I am now afraid to purchase ANY brand of GPS featuring voice recognition because of the failure of this unit…I have owned several Garmin GPS units and this is the first to…
