What happened to Garmin? What happened to Garmin? Back in the day I only used Garmin GPSs in my cars. This one is horrible. I drive all day long around North Jersey and upstate New York to 15 – 20 appointments a day, and this GPS drives me right into the traffic. I’ve had it for months now, and I’ve received a traffic congestion notification maybe twice? I’ll be sitting in traffic and the traffic icon will be green, and when I press it it says there’s no traffic on the route. I have to use Google Maps on my phone if I’m running late because it’ll take me a completely different way and avoid all traffic. And another annoying thing is when I’m leaving an appointment to go to another one. It will show which direction I’m facing and where I have to go, but as soon as I start moving the whole screen will rotate and I’ll be going the wrong way. You’d think it would know which direction I’m facing once I reach my destination and keep it that way for when I enter a new one. Nope. I’m always doing illegal k-turns in…
