Substantially better than stock GM Nav units First off, I would have given this head unit 4 and a half stars if I could, because my overall happiness with it overcomes my two big issues with it. I will start with the good… It looks 100% factory when installed, which was my biggest concern. I would put elaborate systems in my vehicles when I was younger, but I noticed that A) they get stolen more than stock stereos and B) aftermarket systems (in my opinion) look tacky, while I wanted my newer truck to look clean. I installed this in a 2009 GMC Sierra (model without a floor console). I really wanted an Advent 0GM-1, but they are extremely hard to find right now. I am not disappointed at all with this unit though. The navigation feature is much better than the factory one in my wife’s 2008 Tahoe. It’s more responsive and much easier to use. Blue tooth works very well with my iPhone, and like another reviewer mentioned, I did not have to install the external microphone. I am not sure if it works through my Onstar mic, or…

Great OEM-style all-in-one head unit Overall, I am very please with this unit and would recommend it to someone who wants something that looks OEM, has loads of features and can be had for a fair price.Screen: The touchscreen is very responsive compared to other head units I’ve tested. Don’t forget to calibrate it. It wasn’t bad stock, but will need calibration after install to work really well. In the daytime, the brightness, color, etc. are acceptable but will not blow you away. In nighttime, the screen will auto dim to about half of whatever you have it set to and it looks great. Because of the factory mount angle, there will be some glare to the driver being sourced from the back window. The passengers don’t see the glare because their angle is better. Good screen overall.CD/DVD: The video quality is better than I expected (especially at night). Discs take about 10-15 secs to load, which is pretty much on par with the better units out there. Plays store-bought DVDs and DVD+R, DVD-R,…

CarShow is a great radio replacement in Chevy Suburban Installation was good especially with all the direct factory harness connectors. All features and functions are working great.Installing the GPS antenna just a little tricky but fine for any do it yourselfer! Bluetooth works great (my Suburban did not have); OnStar still works. The Suburban MIC works (no need to wire the included CarShow mic). Calls sound good and callers on the other end say they can hear me very well.iPhone integration works well. Can play music through bluetooth streaming (Pandora or Music/iPod) and if you use your lightning cable you get more features (e.g., charging and music display from Pandora or iPod/Music).Nav is very good. No problems with that but haven’t taken any long trips yet.Things I would like to see:- no HD radio — really wish this unit had that feature. Our 2013 GM has HD radio and I think this should be standard as part of any good aftermarket radio (and make no mistake, the CarShow by Rosen is a…
