Accuracy…Ease of use Probably the most important function of a golf GPS is its’ accuracy then its’ ease of use.To judge its’ shot distance accuracy, I laid out two 300′ tape measures end to end (200 yds) and further broke that down to every 25 yds. I gave each distance 30 secs prior to recording the number to give the gps time to adjust to my movements. I ran the experiment 3 times. The following 25yd increments were recorded as follows:25-(28,26,22)50-(54,49,46)75-(78,73,73)100-(102,99,100)125-(127,125,125)150-(151,151,149)175-(178,173,175)200-(204,200,201)So as you can see, even the Bushnell Lasers are only accurate to +/- 1 yd. For the extra $250 they want for it, I decided to buy the watch and spend the extra $250 on a new driver. The watch appears to be more accurate the longer the distance. I found it very easy to use and won’t miss having to put the laser up to my eye, hold it very steady to make any more…

Highly recommend. Better than Garmin for the price I don’t normally write reviews, but felt compelled to for this product. First, I normally shoot in the mid 80’s to mid 90’s and play 15-20 or so rounds a year. For a short while I used a hand-held GPS, but found it cumbersome and inconvenient (so much so that I used it rarely).Using a GPS watch has easily taken 2-3 strokes off my rounds – mostly because some holes are very deceiving and the watch “tells the truth”.I have friends with both Garmins (maybe there are more than 2 now – I bought my Neo X about 4-5 months ago). The Bushnell has functions in between both (but closer to the higher-end model but at the time was priced like the lower-end one (I paid $149).Positives1. Very simple to use. It took me about 10 minutes to learn how to use it. Must functions are 1-2 presses of a button. This is what I really like about it – it is not fancy, but very intuitive and it gives you all the basic functions plus some that are not basic…

The early verdict is “Great” Just received my Neo X GPS watch. Ordered from Golfsmith, through Amazon, on Sunday and delivered Wednesday, Golfsmith’s free shipping not Amazon Prime. Quick and well packaged, nicely done Golfsmith. The early assesment of the Neo X is very good. The battery charged very quickly and it was easy to set up. I then went to my golf course to give it an on course workout. It was easy to use, quick, and very accurate, within a couple of yards. I used the shot measuring tool several times, again, easy and accurate. Sometimes when the green is close to the next teebox, the watch will advance to the next hole when you approach the green. A real easy push of a button and its back to the hole you are on.I have poor old man eyesight (I wear 2.5x reading glasses for books) but the watch is very easy for me to read without glasses.I played for 3 hours with extra button pushing, to test the functions of the watch, the battery still showed fully charged. At this time I…
